Lance Armstrong, 1800 other professional and amateur athletes exposed to toxins at Ironman Florida 70.3

Wow!! Thank you WTC for not caring for their athletes.  I smell lawsuits and probably rightfully so. 

This is the event I just completed about a month ago.

  1. Sure sounds like WTC ignored the potential downsides and went ahead with the race anyways. Unfortunately, I can see why they'd do it. Hopefully nothing long-term comes up.

    I've always checked with local reports on water status before my races. Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island was the only one I've had with reported issues.

  2. OMG, that's insane. The WTC is going to have more than an earful from what happened at Muncie. I mean, I get why they shortened the course BUT there were some seriously ticked off people. Most wanted a refund or more options than what we were offered.
